  • The Blessing Journal I made :)

I used a spiral notebook and covered it and decorated it.

I chose spiral so I could easily fold the notebook in half to write on either side of the pages.

  • A Peek into Our Home

I have taken some pictures I thought I would share.

Here's a little peek in our home for you to see and for the girls to look back on one day.

    Smiles :)

    1

Fall leaves sent to me by a precious friend, Karen :)
    Thank you Karen!  xoxo

This area was a little pile so I got this basket to contain that little pile that included, colors, markers, erasers, pencils, all artsy stuff of the kids.

    5

OK this is probably a silly picture but I found this teeny little square plate and I *HAD* to have it for a spoon rest.  I never remember using a "real" spoon rest.. I always find something unique that I will smile when I look at it while cooking.  :)

    6

This is my HUGE pot that I use regularly to prepare BIG meals in so we have leftovers for the next day's lunch!  It's been such a great addition to our kitchen!

    7

Rather than buy decorated birthday paper plates each birthday, I chose this beautiful ceramic one that I found at Home Goods for 2.99 I believe.  Madi Grace was thrilled over it... she was the first to get to use it!  (her bday is Sept 20 but we had our little party early, those pictures are coming, of course!  Smiles)

    8

And this is the cup I got for $3.99 at Home Goods.  You can personalize it on the other side which says Princess and has all the same decorations.. there's a little spot to add a name but we didn't do that since it will be used by each girl on their bday.  I thought it was too cute!

    9

This is a framed picture of myself and my mother in law that we took while in Texas.  I just love this picture and she said she liked it too!  :)   When I look at it each day I sometimes just smile and sometimes I pray for her day.  I just love it.  The girls do too!

    10

a Glance into my kitchen counter area.

    11

My new $1.00 from Michael's recipe box!

    12

and the matching recipe cards that are blank!

I've now used ONE... I so badly need more recipes!!!!!

    13

This is my little sitting place outside.

    14

My beautiful peace lily with all of it's blooms.

    15

and this little baby bloom was hidden behind a bunch of leaves.  I found it and felt like God was smiling down on us!  :)

    16

Roses from my husband this week.  he is amazing!!!!

    17

upclose, see they're like leopard pink print roses, lol

    18

And he got me these GORGEOUS orchids.  I need a better vase for them....

    19

    Just beautiful, to me.

    An overview of my counter...

I hope you enjoyed the little "peek into our home."

  • We adopted a fur baby! :) Miss Katie Pie :)

Little Miss Katie is a Malti-poo.  She's half malteese and half poodle.

    She is such a joy!

We already just adore her!  She brings lots of life to our home!

The girls are so crazy about her they have to take turns holding her!

That means Mom must referee, LOL

    Enjoy the pictures!

  • Our trip to the Florida Keys

Saturday, after Kenny got off work, we decided to drive down to the Florida Keys.

We had a really great time!

We were hoping there would be a lot of little shops open and such that we could browse around through but they were all closed except ONE!

So, the girls didn't get to get a souvenir unfortunately!  :(

We had a fun time though.

I took a TON of pictures, as you will see!  I hope you enjoy them!

Girls, one day when you look at this post, I hope you remember all the beauty and FUN!

    1

Here we are passing by the Everglades..

    2

    This little church was adorable.

The sign says "Key Largo Baptist Church"

    3

This is the ONE place that was open and it was the first shop we came to.  The girls didn't find anything they really wanted in there.  It was TONS AND TONS of Shells.  So we were going to find something at another shop.  We didn't know there would be none open.  On our way out of this store, they gave each child a sticker and I got one to send Hope.  Little did we know that "that sticker" would be the "souvenir" they got in the Keys since nothing was open!  LOL!

    4

We arrived here to a restaurant we decided to eat at.  It was in another one of the Keys, can't remember which....

    5

    Love the little Tiki Hut!

    6

    6

OF COURSE I had to get the girls pics in front of it!

    7

    My precious babies upclose!

    8

This was the beautiful walk way going up to the restaurant.

    9

The entire place was beautiful.  The hostess was set up at a cute little "station."

    10

    The view was great!

    11

    See?  So beautiful!!

    12

I just kept snapping those pics!

    13

We got to eat outdoors as it was nice and cool and this was our view.

    14

Across the way was a spectacular boat dock!

    15

My beautiful family - wish Hope was with us!

    16

and now the girls with Mommy :)

I wish I had taken pictures of our meals - they were INCREDIBLE and actually very eye pleasing as well!  I got incredible fish and some type of potatoes I've never seen before.  I was skeptical that I would like it because I've only ever eaten catfish but it was delectable!

    17

Dessert was also delicious and "pretty!"  This is Hannah Joy's chocolate moose.  (spell?)

    18

I got ice cream and creme' brule'.  See how pretty?

    19

This was my first time to have creme' brule' and I had it with the ice cream.

    HEAVENLY!!!!!!!!!!

    20

Kenny and Madison got keylime pie. Mmmm!

Sarah Faith got ice cream.  Hers looked just like mine.

    21

It's hard to see but going across this bridge the Atlantic Ocean is on the left and the Gulf of Mexico is on the right.  The bridge goes down the middle of the two.

    22

    Gulf of Mexico

    24

Cute shot we had hoped was open.

    25

We got SUCH a laugh at their "store hours."

    "AM TILL PM"

    Flexible hours apparently, LOL!

I hope you enjoyed our little visit to the Keys!

    A THANKFUL MOMMY, Cass

  • Hannah Joy at Play :)

Sarah Faith once set this up like this and Hannah Joy loved it so now, EVERY DAY, I set it up after Hannah has gone to bed so it's ready for the next day.

She loves playing with it when it's all set up for her!

AND OF COURSE I ENJOY DOING IT FOR HER!!  :)

    3

She also loves bringing toys and getting at this little table I set up for her and playing.

She puts everything in little purses or bags or containers.

That's just "her thing."  You can see she's got toys "bagged up" here!  LOL!

  • My wonderful, loving, adoring husband brought me flowers today.

I did my best to arrange them in my little creamy pitcher.

I didn't do so well but the flowers are gorgeous in person!!

Thank you, Baby, I love you!

  • Pillowcases from my Sweet Friend - for all of us!

I bought six white pillowcases while I was back home and my sweet friend embroidered our names and "Mommy and Daddy" on them.  We just love them!

It adds such a special touch to each bed.

    Thank you, Heather!!!!
